Dive America

Dive America is our new television series to be broadcast nationwide. Production is currently underway and we are seeking sponsors! Our goal with Dive America is to two-fold: First, we are going to use it as an educational tool for local school districts for the dive location being featured. Each episode will feature a different marine ecosystem in the continental United States and will show and speak about the different plants, animals and fish found in and around the specific site. Once we tape the raw video, an educational video of the specific ecosystem will be made and given to the local school district free of charge, allowing science teachers to use it as a tool to teach future generations about the unique marine life in their own backyards!

Second, we want to use it as a tool to show divers the fascinating local diving they can do with a short drive from their home! “We’ve all seen the television shows which depict 70’ – 100’+ visibility and ideal conditions. Dive America is going to be about ‘real world’ diving, right here in the United States!” says UETC president and executive producer, Peter Marck. “We’re going to bring viewers into America’s lakes, rivers, quarries, ponds and coastal ocean dive sites!”

Certified divers will be able to travel with our crew and appear on Dive America. In addition, any dive operator who has a unique or interesting dive site or operation and would like to have it featured on this new, up-coming series is encouraged to contact UETC for more information.
