New England Underwater

New England Underwater began as a local, cable access show being cablecast to approximately 12,000 homes in one town in Massachusetts. It derived from people asking “What do you see down there?”. What better way to show people than to actually show them?

We began production in 2001 and have produced several episodes including the following topics: “Canaries of the Sea – Beluga Whales”, “Diving the Caves of Akumul, Mexico”, “Great Annual Fish Count, 2002”, “Coast Sweep”, “Shark Diving with New England Sharks!”, “Behind the Scenes of the New England Aquarium (Boston)”, “Diving the Giant Ocean Tank of the New England Aquarium (Boston)”, “Back In Time, Diving on a WWII P-47 Fighter Plane”.

In each episode of New England Underwater, viewers are brought into the underwater world while we teach them about the plant and animal life they are seeing on their television show!

New England Underwater was cablecast to approximately 500,000 homes in Massachusetts.
