Due to lack of funding, the Jim Sands Memorial Marine
Educational
Scholarship program has been suspended until further notice.
Dedicated to the memory of Jim Sands, underwater photographer and advocate for marine preservation, these scholarships are awarded annually to one high school and one college undergraduate student who have demonstrated an interest and dedication to the marine sciences, marine life, marine conservation or studies of marine ecosystems.
